This new version of our Welcome Mat is beautifully crocheted. One version is grey, dark blue with two thin orange stripes and the other version is grey, dark green and two thin orange stripes. The orange stripes represent the dangerous life-jackets that many refugees have perished wearing or spent a lot of money on. Handcrafted with high-quality cotton, which ensures its durability and ease of care. Weaving has been a key part of Love Welcomes since its origins in Greek refugee camps, where women learnt to weave using discarded blankets and lifejackets which were the raw materials available to them. Now we are bringing this product back with a fresh look and crocheted.
